1) How much should I expect to pay for Wedding Photography?
One of my most popular package is the "Standard Wedding Package". The current cost for this package is $975. You will find that my prices are extremely competitive. I believe in providing professional photographic services at a price that all can appreciate.
2) Can I purchase the negatives used to create the images I like? If not, what kind of guarantee do you have that you or you company will still be in business, 5 to 10 years or more down the road when I want more prints.
At ProPhotos by Brian you don't have to worry about this issue. With three of the four wedding packages you will receive a high resolution CD/DVD - copyright released so you may print as many images you like for as long as you like, from anywhere you like. This is done so at no additional charge to you.
3) Will you come to my wedding with back up equipment in case something might happen.
I always have at least two sets of equipment with me. I photograph every package (from start to finish) using professional grade digital equipment (Canon 5D & "L" series lenes). What this means to you the customer is I'm always ready for those issue that arises. With the equipment I use your images will be sharper and with better color saturation.
4) Is it possible to have black & white prints made of my photos?
Black & White photography has a timeless classic look, that has enjoyed somwhat of a resurgence in the last few years. Through a special process during the photo editing process, I can convert any image to black & white. You also have the option to select your whole wedding to be captured in black & white. However keep in mind, if you go with this option, the images can not be coverted to color.
5) Who will be the photographer that take my pictures?

6) Why do you provide a CD/DVD in your packages over selling or providing prints?
Simple; You, the customer have total control of what photos you want and how many you want and the size you want... for a lifetime.
I do offer a on-line gallery for family and friends viewing and ordering as well as for the packages that do not offer the CD/DVD negatives. I have found this to be a helpful item to clients when its comes to trying to gather orders for long distance family and / or friends. This feature allows the client to simpley give a gallery card and let them take care of the rest. All print orders are professional processed and ship directly to buyers front door.
7) What do I need to do to make an appointment to meet with you?
Email or call me anytime, 7 days a week. We will set a date to get together that works well for the both of us. This meeting will give you a chance to ask any and all questions you may have and for me to get a better feel of the type of coverage you're seeking. By time the meeting is over, we will have gotten to know one another well and be comfortable being around each other. This helps greatly in capturing the true image of the moment.
I usually meet with client's at Starbucks in Topeka, just off of I-470 or a downtown restaurant, bookstore within your city.
8) We live too far away from Topeka to meet with you in person, so what can we do to still book our wedding with ProPhotos by Brian?
Many of my clients are from other cities and/or getting married somewhere far away, so I am very used to working with clients and planning the wedding photography event over long distance. If fact about four out of seven of my photography events takes place out of town or out of state.
I'd be happy to meet with you over the phone and/or email as many times as needed.
9) Do you have a wedding contract?
Yes. You want to make sure that the wedding photographer you are looking to hire indeeds has one. The contract not only looks out after the interest of the photographer but more so, you the client. This is a very important item for both parties. Make sure to review the contract with the photographer and to ask all questions that you may have.
10) Where do you provide wedding coverages at? Do you go out of state?
a) I provide coverage from my home base in Topeka, KS.
b) Yes. I will travel anywhere you need me to go to cover your event and capture your images. I only charge a small mileage fee of (a) inside 100 miles radius of Topeka, KS is no charge (b) outside 100 mile radius 48 cents per mile charge. All mileage fees are in addition to the package of your choice. No lodging or meal cost are every charged!
11) What do you required to book your services?
For weddings; A $200 non-refundable deposit along with a singed contract is required to book your wedding event.
For seniors, engagements, bridals, and family portraits; A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the package choice price is required to book the event.
12) Do you shoot in color or black & white?
Normaly I will capture an event using both black & white and color. However I will capture solely in eaither or. Clients option.
13) How many weddings to you do in a single day?
I try to only book / provide photographic coverage for two weddings per month. Providing professional photographic coverage for a wedding requires a lot of planning and attention to detail in both the shooting as much so the processing of the finial prints. I also design all wedding books and albums myself. I want to always make sure that I am able to give 100% of my energy and attention to your wedding.
14) When is a good time for all of us to get together to plan the wedding photography in more detail?
This is a very good item to cover. The better relationship you have with your photographer, the better he or she will be able to capture you ture moments. I will be happy to meet with you whenever it is convenient for you. I often meet with my clients between the third and fourth week before the wedding day.
15) What type of photo file to you provide to your clients?
All images captured by ProPhotos by Brian are done so in JPEG format only. No RAW file is captured. All clients files are provided in full - High Resolution JPEG copied files format.
16) How long will my on-line gallery remain open?
I keep all my client's galleries open for 90 days. If needed I will leave open for longer period. Client's just needs to informed ProPhotos by Brian before the closing date.
